George Loomes
(1807 - 1880)

This is the Last Will and Testament of me George Loomes the Elder of Husbands Bosworth in the County of Leicester, Labourer, as follows. First I direct that my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses be fully paid. I give all my share right and Interest of in and to several Messuages, Cottages 
or Tenements, Orchard Yard Outoffices and appurtenances situate in Husbands Bosworth aforesaid and late in the occupation of my Sister Jane Jarvis and others and all other my Real Estate whatsoever and wheresoever and to the use of my, Son George Loomes and my Daughter Louisa the Wife of Edward Cave their heirs and assigns for ever as Tenants in Common.  I give and bequeath all my Money and Securities for Money and all other of my personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever unto and equally between my said Son George Loomes and Daughter Louisa Cave share and share alike and 
I declare that the share of my said Daughter shall be for her sole and separate use independent of her husband and the same is not to be subject to his debts, control or interference.  I appoint my said Son George Loomes and Daughter Louisa Cave Executor and Executrix of this my Will.  In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this Twenty seventh day of July, One thousand and eight hundred and sixty nine.

Signed and declared by the said George Loomes, the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us present at the same time who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses  ______Wm. Proved at Leicester on the Twenty First day of January 1880 by the Oaths of George Loomes, the 
Son and Louisa Cave (Wife of Edward Cave) the Daughter, the Executors, to whom administration was granted.

 
The Testator, George Loomes, was late of Husbands Bosworth In the County of Leicester, 
Laborourer and died on the Sixth day of January 1880 at Husbands Bosworth aforesaid.
